In my Universe, that honour will now be bestowed upon either AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Cody Rhodes or Drew McIntyre. And in addition to that, there is the added carrot of a guaranteed world title match at SummerSlam for the winner… so… lets get on with it shall we! Here is my 3rd PPV of my WWE 2K24 Universe Mode, as we crown the KING of the RING!
King Of The Ring – July Sunday Week 3 (Cleveland, Ohio)

Bianca Belair (C) defeated Piper Niven to retain the WWE Women’s Championship
She was a champion before my Universe Mode even begun, and that’s not changing yet…
One of the most… well… this is going to be something…
Bray Wyatt & Uncle Howdy defeated ‘DIY’ (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) (C) to win the World Tag Team Championship
Well then… They now have gold, whatever will come from the mind of Bray next…
With one finalist already decided, we now have to find out who will be the other…
Kevin Owens defeated AJ Styles in a KOTR Semi Final
And so Drew McIntyre will have his shot at his crown and his SummerSlam world title match… but he will be in for a FIGHT!
With one women’s title already retained, what would be the fate of the other in my WWE Universe?…
Tiffany Stratton (C) defeated Gigi Dolin to retain the Women’s World Championship
It’s STILL Tiffy Time as the champ retains… for now…
And from the beauty, to the BEAST…
Montez Ford defeated Bronson Reed (C) to win the Intercontinental Championship
In quite the upset, we have a NEW IC Champion!!!
And now for a match that more than lived up to expectations in real life, lets see how it does in my WWE Universe…
Gunther (C) defeated Chad Gable to retain the World Heavyweight Championship
A valiant effort from the challenger Gable, but in the end the RING GENERAL remains WORLD CHAMPION!
And now for another world title match… and if the last match was based upon their real life encounters, then this next one seems like something… out of a video game!
CM Punk (C) defeated Bron Breakker to retain the WWE Championship
And after a proper BATTLE, the BEST IN THE WORLD remains just that!
And now, finally, it is time to crown our KING OF THE RING… Oh and who gets a title shot at SummerSlam…
Kevin Owens defeated Drew McIntyre to win the KOTR final
And just like that… we have our new KING!
And that was King Of The Ring! Quite the show really, New tag champions, New IC Champion, and as you have just seen… a new KING OF THE RING! And so Kevin Owens not only has a nice shiny crown now, but also a world title shot at SUMMERSLAM…
