EXTREME RULES: October Week 3 (Sunday) – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We open with which should be an action-packed, chaotic BANGER!!!

Gunther (C) defeated LA Knight & Sami Zayn & Karrion Kross & Rey Mysterio & Robert Roode in a Ladder Match to retain the Intercontinental Championship

The train just rolls on for the extraordinary IC Title reign for The Ring General!

Next up, is the latest chapter in one of the longest running rivalries of my Universe Mode, as the Raw Women’s Championship is put on the line in a STEEL CAGE MATCH!

The challenger looks to finally put Belair behind her, and to get her team back on the gold rush…

The champion though wants to prove her dominance once again, and to add another W to her championship run!

But of course in this match, there is a third party which can only add to the animosity between the two women!

Bianca Belair (C) defeated Bayley in a Steel Cage match to retain the Raw Women’s Championship

I would have this be a good back and forth match, with Bayley trying at every chance she gets to escape the cage… but in the end, the finish would see Bianca hit either a KOD or some form of multi-rotation, summersault off the cage to Bayley, followed by the big 1,2,3, Belair retains!

Next up is a match that promises to be… something…

Two fierce brawlers going to battle here, with no Wyatt 6 involvement will Drew get some payback for all the recent attacks he has suffered from…?

Or can Bray pick up a big win and prove his dominance?

Bray Wyatt defeated Drew McIntyre

Another tough loss for McIntyre on PPV… where will he go now from here? As for Bray, him and his Wyatt 6 march on and continue to bring their dark chaos to SmackDown!

Next we have another very personal rivalry coming to a culmination…

Tommaso Ciampa defeated Kevin Owens

I’d have this be a banger! Time on its side at around 15-20 minutes, two great wrestlers would have a hard-hitting war! The match would be even… until the finish, when Johnny Gargano would return (having not been seen for a number of weeks when he was attacked by Ciampa), and with the ref down… he in fact SIDES WITH CIAMPA! Superkick to Kevin Owens, then Gargano and Ciampa hit the DIY finisher, and Ciampa gets the win with e ref counting the 1,2,3 after coming around. DIY FOREVER!

The hits just keep rolling on this show…

After their match at Clast At The Castle, Becky here looks to get her revenge…

Or will the dominant run of the nightmare continue…?

Becky Lynch defeated Rhea Ripley in a Last Woman Standing Match

I thought this match was GREAT! Lots of false finishes and great spots, but in the end it was indeed Lynch who got the win, and they now go on at 1-1.

To follow one women’s BANGER of a match, we have another…

Charlotte Flair (C) defeated Raquel Rodriguez to retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship

Another challenger, another victim to the reign of The Queen. I just think she’s a great champion, and a very good wrestler and it’s so easy for me to book and have her as a long-reigning title holder. And Raquel is a great too, she’s really likeable and so she makes a great fiery babyface, but here it’s another one for Flair in the W column. woo with a CAPITAL W once again…

If that match was two equals colliding, the next one is a GOLIATH taking on… not quite a david, but someone who might just have the stardust needed…

The enforcer of The Hurt Business tries to prove his dominance here against one of the top names in the company…

But he comes up against someone who came right back from double WWE Title heartache with a huge win in Cardiff against The ALL-MIGHTY, only to quickly enough after find himself faced with a GIANT challenger out for revenge…

Cody Rhodes defeated Omos (with MVP)

Cody did indeed get the job done here, two wins on the bounce now and with The Hurt Business in the rear, what next now for The American Nightmare…

In our semi-main event, an old rivalry is renewed once again, now with an added Bloodline element…

The New Day come in looking to get back what they feel is THEIR… W,W,E,SMACK,DOWN,TAG,TEAM,CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

But they come up against a tag team on a ROLL, one that fights not just for their titles, but for their family!

The Usos (C) (with Solo Sikoa) defeated The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods with Big E) to retain the SmackDown Tag Team Championship

This match would be your classic new day vs usos match (in the sense that it was just really good), and then the finish… Solo tries to get involved, Big ER stops him and then Big E is taken out by…

THE TRIBAL CHIEF himself! Not only would he take down Big E, but I’d have Paul Heyman distract the referee, allowing for Reigns to hit Xavier Woods with the World Heavyweight title belt, and The Usos would get the win off the back of that… with Roman Reigns having SCREWED The New Day!

and finally… IT IS TIME!!!

Can the Rated R Superstar prove once again that he is ELITE???

Or can the champion put the challenger to the sword, and continue The Judgement Day rule over WWE?

Finn Balor (C) defeated Edge in an Extreme Rules match to retain the WWE Championship

Wow… what a war! What a battle! Edge came close on a few occasions, but simply couldn’t get it done, and once again Finn Balor survives and endures, STILL your WWE Champion!

And that’s the show! What a show, one of my best PPVs so far I think. Some big blogs coming up, with the build to our next ppv in the next blog, and then after that its a BIG one, Survivor Series! With… added twist…

I wonder if you’ll be able to see what I’ve got planned…

Josh.
