It’s time… to go to WAR!!!
My biggest PLE so far in my WWE 2K24 Universe Mode. The biggest in terms of consequences, and the biggest with the most STACKED line up I’ve ever put together… world championships on the line, family’s united for a common cause, and book-ended by two HUGE War Games matches!
AND NOW… LET THE WAR GAMES BEGIN!
Survivor Series: WAR GAMES – Sunday November Week 4 (Rosemont, Illinois)
We begin with our first War Games match of the show!
(So this match was actually super fun to play out, but it was kind of hampered by the fact that for some reason, the CAW I used for Jamie Hayter appeared in the match BALD… So, please try and look past that here…)
In the end though, THEA HAIL, after weeks of being made to feel like she wasn’t worthy or good enough to be on her team, got her revenge on Nia Jax by TAPPING HER OUT! A new star is born in War Games!
Next up, a match that promises to be a BANGER!
(Another annoying disclaimer here… for some reason, this CAW attire had Adam Cole come out in street clothes… again, please try and overlook that…)
Maybe the casual gear set the tone? But regardless, we have a NEW Intercontinental Champion, as The Elite’s big night gets off to a BAD start!
Next we have a battle of brothers, ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend?’, or is it just a battle of monsters? Regardless, this next match promises to be WILD!
Another tough loss in battle for Bray Wyatt, as Uncle Howdy and his soldiers show that there is a new family ruling the dark world of WWE!
Next up, you thought that match was wild… how about THIS!
A dream match of the past, but my god IMAGINE this in 2024?! A match more than worthy of TWO world title belts being on the line…
AND THE NEW!!!
Next up, a case of friends reunited, or perhaps enemies?…
Lynch fought hard, but one HUGE knee from Mone was enough for Mercedes to keep her crowns.
Next up… oh boy…
THE SCAPEGOAT enters into Chicago to THUNDEROUS boos!
And as he waits to see who will answer his ‘open challenge’, Perry takes the mic and is happy to announce that to sweeten the deal, he will happily make his match tonight an Extreme Rules match, so he can ‘really give some sorry ass a CHICAGO style beating’ (more thunderous boos)… And as the ‘FUCK YOU JUNGLE BOY’ chants rain down, the same fans then begin to chant for who they want… and just as those chants reach a fever pitch, their prayers are answered… but with a twist…
OUT COMES CM PUNK… to ‘THIS FIRE BURNS’!!! Yep, we taking it right back to the CM Punk I first encountered. And with the retro theme, Punk now goes into battle with his new school enemy, under EXTREME RULES!
And a CHICAGO style beating we saw… but it was CM Punk handing it out! Punk is back, and The Elite best beware!
AND FINALLY… it was time for it all to be put on the line! A family reunited vs a band of brothers set on changing the world. With the future of TWO companies on the line, it was time to once again go to WAR!
Just to be clear, here is what is at stake… IF The Bloodline win, then ALL AEW wrestlers must leave WWE for GOOD! BUT…
… IF The Elite win, then AEW will take control of Roman Reigns’ own show, the show that gets its name via a certain cousin of The Tribal Chief… An Elite win in War Games will see AEW get ownership of SMACKDOWN!
And in a HUGE shock, THE ELITE DEFEAT THE BLOODLINE! And… it was The Tribal Chief himself who was pinned! Matt Jackson with the moment of his career, gains control of SmackDown for All Elite Wrestling!
And now as a result, things will certainly CHANGE! What AEW SmackDown will look like I’m not quite sure, and how WWE will react to losing one of their shows to their competitor remains to be seen too… but one thing is for sure, things will NEVER be the same again!
